Again, from EpiCuteBlog..
I need to take some cake decorating classes.. yes!

On Sunday Ash, Tim and I went to Lagoon. It was fun! But for some reason we were all totally worn out afterwards, and we left before the park even closed. Must be something in the Water.. Or maybe we just aren't used to being in the warm warm sun after that loooong annoying Winter, who knows. But aren't we cute? I loves them.
I want these! How am I supposed to lose weight, when they make treats like this that are so cute! That the Betty Crocker inside of me wants to whip up and see if I can make them any cuter?! Eek!
This might just have to be my Easter project.. hmmmm.
To see more cute food, check out the Cute Food Blog here. I love it. Even if I hate it.

Aujourd'hui, nous avons un poème français. Le poème dit une histoire de printemps. J'adore le printemps.. et je le veux maintenant!
(en anglais.. today, we have a french poem. the poem tells of spring. i adore spring. i want it now! ~ there's an english translation of the poem below)
Le Printemps
par Théophile Gautier
Regardez les branches
Comme elles sont blanches,
Il neige des fleurs.
Riant de la pluie
Le soleil essuie
les saules en pleurs.
Et le ciel reflète
Dans la violette
Ses pures couleurs…
La mouche ouvre l’aile
Et la demoiselle
Aux prunelles d’or,
Au corset de guêpe
Dépliant son crêpe,
A repris l’essor.
L’eau gaiement babille,
Le goujon frétille
Un printemps encore !
Springtime
By Théophile Gautier
Look at the boughs,
How white they are,
It’s snowing flowers!
Scoffing at the rain,
The sun dries
The weepy willow.
And the sky reflects
In the violets
Its pure colors…
The fly opens its wings
And the dragonfly
With the golden pupils,
And the wasp-like corset,
Unfolding its silky wings,
Has resumed its flight.
The water happily babbles,
The tiny fish wriggles
It’s Springtime again!
Au Revoir,
As I mentioned in this post, I have always wanted to go to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. But never really had the chance, or I'm always like "I want to go!" and then by the time I remember again, its over. {I still think its lame its only for about a week} but this year I was able to go! Ash and I figured out that we could only go one day, the 28th, where we'd be able to go together, because of our crazy uneven work schedules. So we went on Tuesday, I was so excited! Here are a few of my pictures of all the pretty gardens. I really liked it there. I have never seen the Thanksgiving Point gardens, and now I'm like Dude! I love it. So.. here they are :)
It was starting to get kind of windy, and the clouds were looming over head, but it really was a lot of fun!Easter really is one of my favorite Holidays, probably for four reasons:
Back to bullets, Yes I am.

I have been reading a lot lately. I got into a few girly~girly novels, and read one of them in just one day! So I have updated my 50 Books in 2009 list again. I've read 11 books now. I'm slowly creeping towards my goal. I hope I can really make it! Eek! At the rate I'm going, I don't know if it will work. Guess we will see. I think since I'm taking the Summer off from school I will have more time to read books and catch up.
Today is April 1st, and it still snowed here most of the day!!! WTF?! So not cool! Its like some sort of April Fools joke, by the Weather Guru or something. I don't know! But it better stop. This poem is perfect for today:
"Awake, thou wintry earth -Tomorrow is The Grand Opening at The Rack. I hope there's not too many people! Ick. I worked at the Sugar House Rack on Saturday. It was interesting. I got to go with Lindsey from work, and she's pretty awesome, so it was good. I'm glad it was her I got to go with. The manager of that store, Bridget, took us out to a cafe nearby, and paid for our food. Way nice. The actual manager of the Accessories department was totally weird though. Our actual manager from the Sandy Rack called while we were on break and wanted us to call her back, the manager at Sugar House told us not to! She's like "oh, we need you to keep working, don't call her back." WHAT? So so strange. Yeah, here, let us disobey our actual manager, sure that makes sense..
Fling off thy sadness!
Fair vernal flowers, laugh forth
Your ancient gladness!"
- Thomas Blackburn, An Easter Hymn
It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so! ~Mark Twain
And I really don't have patience.. Especially for things I hate, like snow, coldness, frigid wind. Yuck! I do love rain though, so I'm okay with some great thunderstorms coming my way, just no more snow.© Blogger template Webnolia by Ourblogtemplates.com 2009
