No more Diet Coke, and my dreams of Santa Monica Pier

So maybe this shouldn't have been the week I decided to stop drinking carbonation.. (including my favorite diet coke!)
I might regret this.
In other things.. I heard Savage Garden on the way to work today. It flashed me right back to the 90s. I can't believe how old that song made me feel! But how I also knew every. single. word. of that song. I'd be lying if I didn't admit that I sang a few lines outloud, in my car, alone.
The first Savage Garden CD was the soundtrack to one of our family vacations to California when I was little - about 11 I think. That song really made me want to go back to California.. Santa Monica pier could really hit the spot right now, if you know what I mean.
Pretty random Monday post, yes.

Hi Nicole! I just surfed by, and being that I was just thinking of my friend (who passed away almost 5 years ago) and one of her favorite bands was Savage Garden, I took it as a sign that I should comment. :)
I enjoyed my visit, will be back again. Stop by my place anytime - I might have some Diet Coke ... oh shoot, you're off that. Umm ... iced tea?
P.S. That French Diet sounds like a plan :D
I'm glad you're quitting the diet coke. I should probably lay off the coffee but I'm just to in lovee to quit! LOl.
I'm also not looking forward to school this week. UGH.
And Savage Garden reminds me of cheerleading freshmen year, we used to sing along to that and Backstreet Boys, yikes!

Awww Andy Warhol is awesome and I loves Savage Garden. There's a song that plays at my work all the time and the other day Susie and I were like.. "Is this Savage Garden!?" haha. I loved them. I remember that trip too. Let's go back to..

OMGosh.... 'Savage Garden' .....what a total blast from my past! I haven't heard them in sooooo long! (I'm off to find them on YouTube now!) Don't drink alot of soda or Coke.....but I am addicted to Red Bull! Don't know what I'd do without it!
