Hair Evolution

I'm never sure how I want my hair. Over the past year, this is how my hair has evolved. I wonder what that says about my personality ;)

And how about the part where I really don't know which one I think is the best. Hmmmm.

I meant for this picture.. my hair NOW to be added later, but I kept forgetting to take one! So here's my picture, added... hours after people have commented. haha ;)

The Earth Laughs in Flowers ~ who doesn't love Emerson?

Oh man, I want these shoes. Stupid Nordstrom emails. I mean, really? Who has $120 to spend on these super cute Dansko sandals?! Not me.. that's for sure.. but I still want them. Yes, yes I do.

I love that its all summery now in Utah! FINALLY! Except that its supposed to rain tomorrow.. so it was short lived. But rain can be good too, right? I really do like rain, I just feel like that time should be over now. I'm ready for SUMMER.

I think I have some sort of 'spring fever' or something. I just want to be outside, sitting in the warm sun, not at school or work, being productive! Ick!

Yesterday I went walking with my friend Alisha. It was good. We are going to try to do it on a weekly basis, and maybe that will get me motivated to work out again. I still haven't bought a gym membership.. and yeah, first I blamed it on my debit card fiasco with the fabulous Jordan Credit Union, but now its just like.. I'm.. lazy. I might join in May though. Let's make it a May thing, right? I have all of May and most of June off from in-person school (meaning I have online classes that start in May). THAT in itself makes me so excited! I get to work normal hours at work - YES! I will only be working from 9a to 3:30p - so it better not rain too much in May because I am going to Lagoon dammit!

On Sunday Ash, Tim and I went to Lagoon. It was fun! But for some reason we were all totally worn out afterwards, and we left before the park even closed. Must be something in the Water.. Or maybe we just aren't used to being in the warm warm sun after that loooong annoying Winter, who knows. But aren't we cute? I loves them.

Two of my friends are graduating this week and next week. I love that I will always feel academically inferior to Jihyei and Alisha. Just kidding, just kidding. I am proud of them! Jihyei is getting her Law Degree - LAW degree. WOW! and Alisha is getting her Master's in Education.. but somehow, I doubt either one of them is really finished with school. Silly, silly girls. Jihyei is spending her summer in Maryland with her parents, so we all got together last week. I know I don't see her very often, but I'm going to miss her, nonetheless. Maybe a trip to DC is in my future - what a good excuse to see Jihyei and Barack, right? Just say yes. Here's us at Jihyei's house, we had a lot of fun. I look gynormously tall in this picture.. I really am sitting on the edge of the couch. I swear. Blah.

Alisha's graduation is perfect for me, becaaaaaaause its down in Cedar City - southern Utah. So, I get to go on a mini road trip! How cool is that?! I'm excited. Not that there's a TON to do in Cedar City, but its the act of escaping for a couple days that sounds superb. So, next weekend. Me = Mini Vacation.

I'm also going out to Dinner with Ol' Accessories Dept, Rack people tomorrow. I am excited for that too.. yeah, see? How am I supposed to lose weight when all I do is go out to eat? Should probably fix that.. maybe I'll become an avid bowler. Ha, yeah right.

I'm no Fashionista, but..

Now, I know I'm no fashionista. But am I the only one that goes through life thinking "OH MY GOSH that girl needs to go on What Not to Wear!" Do you go into work everyday.. and see that one coworker that is apparently apparel choosin' challenged, and think I have GOT to get her a "Fashion for Dummies" book?

Maybe I'm mean, and just watch this show too much, but I love this show.. especially when she says SHUT UP! and recently she started saying SHUT THE DOOR! (and even on those times where she needs to be stellar emphatic she'll say SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!!) I need to work that one into my everyday colloquial. Yeah, if only I was as believable as Stacy London.

Its been awhile..

Weird! I was a blogaholic, fanatic.. but I didn't post anything for over a week.

Over a week.

How crazy is that.. ?

• A lot of silly stressful things have happened in the past week-ish. Let's see, I got in a car accident. That was technically my fault, because I rear ended someone, by school, because I wasn't paying enough attention, and some dude just HAD to cross the road in front of the car in front of me, right at that moment. Ugh. I still get tense driving, or riding in the car with someone. And my body was so sore after wards! My neck and upper back still kind of hurt, because I got so tense and uckee when I had to slam on my brakes.

• Tim had his 12th birthday - as you can see with my last post before my little blogging hiatus of sorts. I can't believe he's 12 already. Its crazy. I was 13 when he was born!

• I got in an altercation with the neighbor lady, cause Je la déteste vraiment. Elle est une chienne. Literally, pardon my French..

• Work = Drama. We should probably leave it at that, since who knows what's going to happen with all of it, and I'd rather not be told that my blog is inappropriate or something. But my hell , I wish it didn't have to be so dramatic. I swear, most bad experiences can be easily absolved of with good communication. Seriously.
  

• However, I've just been doing MY job, doing what I need to do in my Department.. helping out when I can at the registers, folding the denim for Mens, and getting Mailing Lists. So much easier when I don't have issues with dramatic dramaness.
  

• I dyed my hair. I bought a nice n' easy "darkest brown" hair color, and had Ash dye it for me. But it didn't really become "darkest brown," my hair's closer to black, than brown. Its so dark. Sigh.. but its not like I've had this color before. So we'll wait a few weeks and then dye it to a less black version. This pic is one I took right after I dyed it.. I don't have hardly any makeup on, so don't judge too much.
  

• I finally figured out my United Way Internship. I am doing research with The Woman and Education Project with UVU. Its actually really interesting. They're trying to find out why, and how we can change, the fact that more men in Utah graduate from College than women. Many Utah women either start school and never finish, or they never even start college. I think that's so sad! But then, after I got this assignment I started noticing how I really notice a higher percentage of men at school than women. So lame. Is Woman's Suffrage dead? Or did it just never reach Utah's school environment? I know so many girls that wait for their husbands to get their degrees. Their husbands. I guess its just one of those things that's part of Utah culture. Many cultures outside of Utah wait until after college to get married. Interesting.

Seems that that.. is that.
