Coffee Bean Dreams

>> June 17, 2010

As I mentioned on Monday, I've been a little bit out of commission since I had my Wisdom teeth (plus 2!) removed. I have been on percocet, an antibiotic, and 800 mg Ibuprofen. I'm usually not THAT crazy on drugs, but I've been having some crazy dreams. {truth be told, I've had crazy dreams before, see here.. but I can blame it on the narcotics, right?}

One dream involved my good friend (and boss), Lina, and her husband Bryce. I don't even know what Lina was saying to me, but she was gesturing, and talking, and giggling. I was just staring at her, confused. Bryce was standing behind Lina laughing HYSTERICALLY. But I don't have a clue at what.

I then interrupt their laughter and yell, "I NEED black coffee!!"

I mentioned this on Twitter, and Tori recommended this dream meanings dictionary. Let's see if this offers any insight.

First, the laughing:

To dream that you are laughing, suggests that you need to lighten up and let go of your problems. Don't put so much pressure on yourself. Laughing is also a sign of joyous release and pleasure. If you are being laughed at, then it indicates your insecurities and fears of not being accepted.

To hear the cheerful laughter of children, denotes splendid joy and vital health.

To hear evil, demonic laughing in your dream, represents feelings of humiliation and/or helplessness.
Sad! I don't feel like I have insecurities, especially with Lina. She's one of my bestest friends. EVER. Maybe Bryce makes me nervous.. haha. Whatever that means. OH man.

and then the coffee...

To dream that you are drinking or need your coffee, suggests that you should gain some insight and knowledge before making a decision or tackling some project/relationship. You may be acting too hasty and need to slow down. Alternatively, it may imply a need for you to change your routine.

To dream that you are drinking coffee with someone, indicates that you might have feelings for that person. Alternatively, having coffee with someone denotes your hospitality and sociability.

To see a coffee pot in your dream, signifies hospitality and sharing of knowledge, hopes, concerns and/or ideas. It may also represent neighborliness, comfort, and companionship.

I don't even really like coffee. Weird.

Any insight for me before I tackle a big project? I don't have a clue what THAT means.

Have YOU had any weird dreams lately?

Baby it's Cold Outside, and I don't like it!

>> October 12, 2008

BRRR! Someone needs to tell the Utah Weather officials that Winter doesn't technically start until December 21st! I am so cold. And I'm a whiner, but I hate winter. I hate it. Hate it. Hate it. And I didn't sleep very well, because of another psycho dream, which ended with me flinging my hand across the room, to get the bee off of me (who knows.. ).. this reaction to my psycho dream world left the aisle between my sister's and my beds wet and cold (I knocked over my water glass) and me freaking out to find my phone, and make sure it wasn't taking a bath. THEN I look outside and see this!

So I decided to snuggle up at the computer desk and see what more fortunate people were doing today, in places not devastated by WINTER; and I found two interesting travel blogs, and I thought I would share. One is in Turkey: TurkiyeHoliday and the other is in Austria (and other places in Europe): Rachel's Austrian Adventures.

I wonder if we have Hot Chocolate..

I got Confused!

>> October 4, 2008

So, I had a very interesting Dream last night:

I was in my bathroom, getting ready to goto bed. Doing the regular things, and I was about to take my contacts out. Somehow, instead of taking my contact out of my eye, I took out one of my front TEETH.

My sister, who was also getting ready for bed, said "What are you doing?"
I said, "I got confused!"

I had put my tooth into my contact case..
so Ashley then says, "Can you put it back in?"

So I tried. I shoved it back into my gums, it really hurt! It seemed to work, but when I pushed my tongue up against my teeth (who knows why!), my tooth AND MY GUMS fell into my mouth. Then I removed my gums from my mouth, with my one tooth and no blood... and went to tell my mom.

My mom's like "Why did you do that?" in a you're-stupid look.
And again, the only explanation I had was, "I got confused!"

My dream ended with me being totally scared and annoyed because I don't have Dental insurance. I'm not really sure what this dream is supposed to mean. Any ideas??
